The inspiration and model for this collection is Nature – the best designed work of all. Some of the pieces are pure reflections of things derived from nature, transformed into household objects through ceramics, with minimal intervention. The designer is merely an observer, drawing these forms and constructions from the bottomless well of nature, to bring them into the practical and aesthetic world. Design that derives from this process provides a functional object and carries a message about today’s reality; it brings the presence of nature to our lives at home, and marrying our everyday needs with an object designed by evolution.
